Future Uncertain For Low Cost Auto Insurance

The governor for California State is thinking whether to extend the state’s low-cost auto insurance program offering bones coverage to motorists who would otherwise drive the vehicle without insurance and break the law. This program would extend after a year as said by lawmakers.

Every 1 citizen out of 4 drivers lack auto insurance which is against the law and will put drivers at risk. The motorists who are uninsured can have their license suspended or revoked. The low cost insurance program varies in premium from country to country.

The coverage for the policy includes $10,000 for bodily injury or death and other $20,000 for bodily injury or death per accident and $3,000 property damage for each accident.

To qualify the motorists can earn around 250 percent of the federal poverty level within a family of four. The insured vehicle cannot go for more than $20,000. As a result an applicant need to be a good driver with no more than one at fault accident for moving violations in past three years.

To enroll for such a course one needs to be of 19 years of age with three years of experience. Also a driver must have no-fault accidents which would involve injury or death in the past 3 years with no felony convictions for code violations.
